21" TALL PAIR OF ANTIQUE SOLID BRONZE GOTHIC CATHEDRAL CANDLE STICK HOLDERS 1918

Description

21" Tall pair of antique solid bronze Gothic/Cathedral candle stick holders c. 1918 w/ 6 Gothic spires each.  This matched pair has much finer detail than the ones being made today (hence my 12 pics vs others' 1 or 2) so please do compare.  They are shorter by several inches but I prefer that as you can use them on a formal dinning room table or to adore that special object d'art.  For example; note how intricate the design is on the connecting posts that sit between the base/middle/candle holder.  Now compare them to what is out there today and you get my point.  What's also amazing is that these guys are in fantastic shape with only minor wear/stress marks that do not affect their function whatsoever.  They are fully restored after approx. 14 hours of stripping wax, oxidation, and an old coat of lacquer before being professionally polished.  They are NOT lacquered and I would implore the buyer not to have them lacquered.  All they require is that once or twice a year you buff them up with soft micro-fiber cloth or polish wheel.  As a result they have a gorgeous gold patina.  They will come shipped disassembled with a detailed schematic for fitting them back together (very easy).  As you know finding candle sticks for these guys is a one option affair.  These sticks (and followers) were purchased at Cosgraves in Omaha, NE, as they are the main supplier for our local churches.  The white candle sticks and their followers are included and are new in mint condition and never used (other than to do the pics).  The bases of the holders have been padded so no worries about harming the surface you set them on.  A great pair to make a great statement.  Shipped free via USPS Priority Mail with signature confirmation.
