90 x 15mm Sterile plastic Petri Dishes (4 Packs of 10)
28 grams Nutrient Agar: 15g Agar, 5g Peptone, 5g sodium chloride, 3g yeast extract.  This will make 1 Litre of nutrient agar solution for 40 plates of 25ml.

Cell and Tissue Culture Dishes are ideal containers for cell growth and yields, and are also useful in sample separation, pre-treatment, and storage.
Product Features:
Dishes are designed for use in applications where cell attachment is not desired. They offer an operating temperature range of -20 to 50°C (-4 to 122°F). Dishes are not autoclavable.

Product use:
1. Suspend 28g of nutrient agar powder in 1 litre of distilled water. Use a flask at least double to size of the volume to avoid boiling over.
2. Heat this mixture while stirring to fully dissolve all components.
3. Autoclave the dissolved mixture at 121 degrees Celsius for 15 minutes.
4. Once the nutrient agar has been autoclaved, allow it to cool but not solidify.
5. Pour nutrient agar into each plate and leave plates on the sterile surface until the agar has solidified.
6. Each batch will make 40 plates (25ml/plate). Store the plates in a refrigerator.
