    c1840s-1850s Lovely Pair English Silver Plate Chambersticks Elkington & Co
    Presented is a charming pair of antique English silver plate chambersticks. These pieces date to around the 1840s-1850s and were made by Elkington & Co. The chambersticks are made in a classic form, with a Chippendale or pie crust type edge, with the bobeches done in matching form. The bobeches are removable for ease of cleaning. Both chamberstick handles have a spot to attach a snuffer, but only one chamberstick still has the snuffer.
    The chambersticks are in great overall condition. There is some minor wear to the silver plating, mostly to the underside, i.e. typical shelf wear. One chamberstick is missing its snuffer. There are no splits, no dents, no breaks, and no repairs.
    The chambersticks are stamped with the maker's mark for Elkington & Co.
    Each chamberstick measures about 7 ¼ inches from handle to opposite side, and stands about 3 inches tall.
